American Red Cross receives generous donation honoring three generations

North Charleston, S.C., September 18, 2017 – A longtime Red Cross supporter and her family are donating $450,000 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief. Nancy Snowden/NCGS is a nurse and a Tiffany Circle community leader. She and the rest of the Snowden Family are dedicated to furthering the Red Cross’ mission of helping those in need.

“Philanthropy and sharing what we have been blessed with are guiding principles of our lives,” Snowden said. “It gives me great joy to be able to continue to support the Red Cross. Although I cannot physically deploy to a disaster, we can at least help other families in need.”

Tiffany Circle is a community of women leaders who advance the American Red Cross mission through a focused investment of time, talent and treasure by engaging and embracing women locally, nationally and internationally. Snowden is a founding member of the Lowcountry SC Chapter of Tiffany Circle. There are 54 Tiffany Circle members in South Carolina. Snowden is also a founding member of Tiffany Circle Hall, a memorial dedicated to selfless philanthropists from across the nation who have created a best-in-class women’s movement.

Three generations of Snowden women listed below will be honored at the newly named Tiffany Circle Hall, on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Red Cross National Headquarters in Washington D.C:

  • Nancy C. G. Snowden
  • Jennifer E. Snowden
  • Sophia A. Snowden

“Ms. Snowden has been a generous supporter of the Red Cross and is a founding and lifetime member of our South Carolina Tiffany Circle,” said Louise Welch Williams, Regional CEO. “Now all three generations of Snowden women will be recognized at our National Tiffany Circle Summit as Tiffany Circle Hall members honoring women devoted to advancing the Red Cross Mission.”
